Sôn Tinh Minh Maïng is produced by macerating 19 Vietnamese herbs in matured Sôn Tinh
sticky rice spirit. Vietnam’s most famous herbal liquor, Minh Mạng is named after Emperor Minh Mang who lived in the 19th century and this is said to be an adaptation of one of his herbal concoctions.

To quote the liqueur’s makers writing about Emperor Minh Mang, “Boasting in excess of 140 children bears testimony to his fondness for invigorating liquor.”
