Review and Tasting

Sampled on 01/05/2011

Appearance:

Clear, bright gold.

Aroma:

A salty fruity nose (pineapple, ripe watermelon and pear drops) with light smoked oak aromas.

Taste:

Hydrated to approx. 40% abv yields smoky notes emerging prominently on the lightly salty palate which has vegetal/seaweed flavours with fruity notes (overripe banana) more subdued.

Aftertaste:

The smoky vegetal notes continue through the long finish which has delicate coconut flavours.
