Available November and December each year, Festive Christmas Porter is brewed with Pale, Crystal and Chocolate malts. The hops used are Target and Challenger.

Appearance:

(sample best before end Apr/15) Opaque, deep deep brown - almost black with a wafer thin but retentive beige head and almost no lacing.

Aroma:

Raisins, caramel and toasty malt.

Taste:

Soft carbonation and light bitterness with prune and raisin fruit, caramel and charcoal/roasted malt.

Aftertaste:

Note of black pepper on a raisin fruit, caramel and burnt malt finish. Lingering molasses.
