Appearance:

Clear, rose red.

Aroma:

Quinine, gentian and herbaceous notes with cherry, raspberry, grapefruit and vanilla shortcake. Faint note of hairspray.

Taste:

Bittersweet and lightly syrupy. Herbaceous gentian bitterness, zesty orange and grapefruit are balanced by red berry fruit and honey sweetness.

Aftertaste:

Red berry fruit with long lingering gentian and quinine bitterness.

Overall:

Sweeter and fruitier than Campari, punchier and drier than Aperol. Gancia Americano balances honeyed red berry fruit with herbaceous gentian bitterness and zesty citrus.
