The youngest of three distillery bottlings released in September 2015 (the others being a 16 and 21 year old) from Royal Brackla, the Highland single malt that's affectionately known as 'The King's Own Whisky.'

Appearance:

Clear, mid golden amber.

Aroma:

Waxy and honeyed with vanilla, sponge cake and baked apple with faint marmalade.

Taste:

Honeyed sherry with balancing marmalade and passion fruit acidity with smoky bacon.

Aftertaste:

Long finish. Sharpe orange marmalade turns to waxy honeyed fruit with faintly smoky oak and bacon.

Overall:

Beautifully balanced and characterful. Honeyed sherry, vanilla, passiofruit and marmalade with faintly smoky oak.
