Review and Tasting
Sampled on 19/09/2015
Appearance:
Crystal clear.
Aroma:
Clean, pungent lime and lemon zest with and underlying bready notes.
Taste:
Faintly sweet with zesty citrus oils with fabulous grape and bready character. Well-balanced.
Aftertaste:
Long lingering zesty finish.
Overall:
We love proper unadulterated armagnac so we approached this unaged citrus infused contemporary ‘armagnac’ with trepidation. However, we love its citrus zestiness, sweet and spice balance and underlying bready notes.
