Released in November 2015, this limited edition rum from the Philippine Negros Occidental Island, was distilled from molasses and aged for 10 years in re-charred oak barrels in the foothills of Mount Kanlaon. It was blended and bottled by Manila based rum maker Bleeding Heart Rum Company.

Clear, deep tawny brown amber.
Reminiscent of Southern Comfort, Lucozade and cola cubes with pungent dried fruit, apricot, cherry, crystallised orange peel, vanilla and light spice.
Intensely flavoured and slightly sweet with lime zest, dry oak and warming Christmassy spice. Notes of cherries, vanilla and lime cordial.
Vanilla and crystallised fruit with more lime cordial and lingering Christmassy spiced oak.
With its sweet, fruity and spicy flavours, this slightly sweet “aged ten years” Filipino rum could have aptly been labelled ‘spiced rum’. It’s also strangely reminiscent of Southern Comfort with boiled sweet (hard candy) tropical fruit flavours.
