Huana is a Mexican liqueur made with fermented Guanabana fruit, otherwise known as Soursop fruit.

Appearance:

Clear, pale golden.

Aroma:

Pineapple and strawberry with mango and passionfruit with zesty citrus.

Taste:

Passionfruit, pineapple, vanilla and tart citrus with honeyed sweetness and white pepper. Faint, toasted coconut. Somewhat reminiscent of boiled sweets/hard candy.

Aftertaste:

Sweet passionfruit, orange, pink grapefruit zest and vanilla.

Overall:

A sweet rum liqueur with tropical fruit, zesty citrus and vanilla. Citric acidity balances the sweetness but detracts from the Guanabana fruit's delicate flavours.
