Launched in mid-2015, this golden rum is distilled in England from fermented East African sugar cane molasses in a small copper pot still before ageing in English oak casks.

Appearance:

Clear, mid-golden amber.

Aroma:

Pungent and estery with tropical fruits, burnt raisons, scorched paper, pear drops, treacle, vanilla and allspice.

Taste:

Full-bodied – this is a huge rum. Fruity esters, golden syrup, smouldering wood, treacle, molasses, gingerbread, overripe banana and sweet grilled pineapple with nutmeg.

Aftertaste:

Treacle, tropical fruit, gingerbread and cracked black pepper.

Overall:

Pungent, dunder-like and estery with tropical fruit, gingerbread and warming spice.
