Blackdown Sussex Vodka made with British Wheat Grain spirit that has been copper pot distilled and charcoal filtered seven times. This is “finished with a hint of Sussex Silver Birch Sap to add a delicate sweetness.”

The Silver Birch sap is tapped once a year in early spring in the 40 acres of woodlands that surround Blackdown.

Appearance:

Crystal clear.

Aroma:

Subtle pine needles, nutty acorn and white pepper spice.

Taste:

Spicy – white pepper with notes of juniper (gin)-like pine. Despite the spice this vodka has a soft mouthfeel.

Aftertaste:

Lingering white and black pepper spice with notes of nut and pine.

Overall:

Spicy – white and black pepper this Silver Birch Vodka has attractive piney nuttiness. Sadly bottled at a mere 37.5% alc./vol..
