This double India pale ale is brewed with Pale, Carapils and Cara Munich malt, along with Mosaic, Simcoe and Azacca hops, using US05 yeast. IBU: 70
Sampled on 14/12/2016
(sample bottle BBE Aug/17) Hazy, deep golden amber with thick retentive off white head with good lacing.
Ripe peach and passion fruit, crusty white bread, and fragrant hops.
Medium to full-bodied. White bread crust, more passion fruit and ripe peach with assertive hops. Nicely balanced.
Tropical fruit and bready malt gives way to lingering bitter hops.
A big beer, with malt, hops and rich tropical fruit all dialled up and presented well-balanced. Hoppy but not a hop bomb of a double IPA.
