Appearance:

(sample bottle BB 24/Aug/17) Clear, deep mahogany amber with very little in the way of a head.

Aroma:

Resinous fruity esters, currants and light Christmassy spice.

Taste:

Dry and resinous with light Christmassy spice.

Aftertaste:

Burnt currants, lightly metallic piney hops and light spice.

Overall:

A dark fruity ale with resinous notes and light Christmassy spice.
