Review and Tasting

Appearance:

Clear, golden amber.

Aroma:

Elderflower, rose, strawberry, pine needles and faint mushroomy, balsawood-like nuttiness.

Taste:

Very slightly sweet with pronounced peppery spice. Notes of pine, strawberry predominate. Water exposes an attractive nuttiness and faint floral notes.

Aftertaste:

Peppery spice, candied strawberry and minty freshness.

Overall:

This barrel aged gin is incredibly complex with strawberry, nutty and floral notes.
