With twelve years age this Grande Champagne is technically a young XO. Carte Blanche literally translates as 'freehand' and Jenssen says the name refers to their giving their cellar master "free hands to compose an avant-garde cognac - light and fruity with no additives."

Appearance:

Clear, golden amber with burnished copper tones.

Aroma:

Floral (jasmine and honeysuckle), honeyed nose with faint cedar wood.

Taste:

Fresh, lemon zest influenced palate that is surprisingly dry and woody. Light vanilla, fudge and toffee flavours.

Aftertaste:

Vanilla, fudge and watermelon shine through in the lightly spicy finish.
