We are told Marylebone Gin is made in central London on the former site of the 18th century Marylebone Pleasure Gardens. Created by Johnny Neill of Whitley Neill Gin, it is distilled with 13 botanicals including chamomile, grapefruit and lime flower in a tiny pot still.
Sampled on 19/09/2017
Crystal clear.
Burnt rubber, piney juniper, pink grapefruit/lime zest and floral potpourri.
Lime cordial, piney juniper and pronounced lavender like floral notes. High alc./vol. is obvious with punchy black pepper spirituous spice.
Floral finish with more lime and black pepper spiced juniper.
Floral lime notes with muscular black pepper spice characterise this London distilled gin. Burnt rubber notes on the nose detract.
