A blend of 45% Baco, 33% Colombard, 15% Folle Blanche, 7% Ugni-Blanc armagnacs aged 12 to 15 years in 420 litre Pedonculate oak medium char casks (half new casks and half seasoned for 7 years or more).

Reduced to bottling strength by aeration and hydration and rested for at least 2 years prior to bottling.

Appearance:

Clear, golden amber.

Aroma:

Floral dried fruit and spice – violets, white flowers, vanilla, fruit cake and white pepper.

Taste:

Blackened fruitcake, black pepper and nutmeg spice, with cacao, vanilla and faint lavender floral notes.

Aftertaste:

Burnt fruitcake, dark chocolate, vanilla and peppery spice.

Overall:

Dried fruit, burnt fruitcake and spice predominate with chocolaty and floral notes. Well-balanced and feisty.
