Distilled with 8 botanicals: Tuscan juniper, coriander, hand-cut Valencia orange, cinnamon, orris, liquorice, calamus and angelica, Smeaton's Bristol Method Dry Gin is a recreation of a gin from the 1800s and is made according to an 1870s recipe discovered in the Bristol Archives on Smeaton Road.
Each of the eight botanicals are individually distilled in copper alembic stills according to their season.

Crystal clear.
Aroma:
Cinnamon, calamus and coriander spiced with pine forest fresh juniper and chocolate orange.
Taste:
Dry, zingy and complex with enlivening spice.

More enlivening but harmonious spice.
Overall:
Beautifully and stylishly packaged, Smeatons is classically juniper forward and London dry in style but with exaggerated, complex and multi-layered spice.
