Appearance:
Faintly cloudy, mid-deep golden amber.
Aroma:
Dark honey, apricot, tangerines, brown bread, raisins and brown sugar.
Taste:
Rich honey and ripe apricot but with light restraining lemon sour acidity.
Aftertaste:
Dried honeyed apricot and very mild cinnamon spice.
Overall:
A sweet mead, but not overly so, thanks to balancing citrusy acidity. Wonderfully complex with ripe apricot fruitiness.
