Appearance:
Clear, deep amber.
Aroma:
Chocolate gateau, complete with cherry and rich sherry-like aromas.
Taste:
Bitter and milk chocolate with subtle cherry fruit and light spice. Fairly aggressive bitterness.
Aftertaste:
Bitter chocolate and light cinnamon and black pepper spice.
Overall:
Chocolate gateaux notes accompanied by very assertive bitterness.
