Review and Tasting

Sampled on 30/09/2019

Appearance:

Clear but almost opaque, deep bronze-brown.

Aroma:

Balsamic vinegar, dried figs and faint almond.

Taste:

Rich and syrupy fig and cherry with balsamic vinegar cutting through some of the richness.

Aftertaste:

Vinegar lingers on the long-dried fig finish.

Overall:

Despite the acidic balsamic vinegar, this "savoury liqueur" is very sweet but it's complex with pronounced fig flavour.
