A limited edition of 8,000 bottles. The rum is charcoal filtered and the matured in a Solera of ex-Tempranillo barrels before being blended with Matusalem's Gran Reserva 15 Solera rum.

Appearance:

Clear, pale salmon pink.

Aroma:

Wine soaked oak, vanilla, pineapple and cinnamon. Faint pear drops.

Taste:

Light to medium-bodied with sweet grilled pineapple fruit dried by young oak and vinous tannins. Light but enlivening cinnamon spice.

Aftertaste:

Medium to long. Vinous toasty oak.

Overall:

With its elegant bottle and salmon pink colour, Matusalem Insólito has a striking appearance. It not only looks different, this red wine oak-influenced rum is distinctive and enjoyable.
