Review and Tasting

Sampled on 02/09/2024

Appearance:

Clear, deep golden amber.

Aroma:

Honey, toffee, baked banana and spicy oak with desiccated coconut, pineapple and black tea.

Taste:

Spicy black pepper, ginger and oak tannins hit first followed by mellowing toffee, honey, baked banana and vanilla.

Aftertaste:

Breakfast tea-like oaky tannins, milk chocolate, black pepper spice and vanilla-infused banana bread.

Overall:

An assertive backbone of dry, toasty oak tannins balances sweet honey, toffee, and baked banana to present waves of flavour on the palate. This generously dry rum is distinguished by its toasty oak tannins.
