A London Dry Gin distilled using the one-shot method in a traditional pot still with 13 botanicals including local hedgerow foraged blackberries and locally grown raspberries. The distillate is reduced to bottling strength with spring water from the grounds of Blenheim Palace, Oxfordshire.
The producers, Rachel and Andy Parsons, refuse to cold filter their gin as this strips flavour and mouthfeel. Hence, when tonic or other mixers are added a slight louche (cloudiness) may be viable as essential oils from the high concentration of botanicals in the gin falls out of suspension. This is a good thing and an indication of flavour.

Crystal clear.
Piney juniper and citrus with herbal spice.
Dry and spicy with generous juniper, zesty citrus, earthy tea-like orris and assertive ginger, cardamom and coriander spice.
Nutty notes emerge in the citrusy moderately spicy long finish.
Generous juniper with assertive cardamon, ginger and coriander spice masks blackberries, raspberries and other more subtle botanicals used in this artisanal gin. Pleasing nutty and slightly woody notes emerge in the long finish.
