Review and Tasting

Sampled on 10/02/2020

Appearance:

Clear, bright golden with white head.

Aroma:

White bread crust with fruity yeast esters.

Taste:

Light to medium-bodied. Clean and crisp with moderate bitterness and, as its brewers say, "with light, fruity yeast esters and herbal spice."

Aftertaste:

Clean finish with attractive lingering maltiness.

Overall:

Peckham is a much-gentrified part of South London and with this gentrification has obviously come a demand for a gluten-free lager. A demand brilliantly satisfied by the local brewery with this flavoursome Helles.
