Review and Tasting
Sampled on 16/03/2020
Appearance:
Clear, mid-deep golden amber.
Aroma:
Monkey nuts, peanut, cinnamon, creamy cereal, rosemary and vanilla.
Taste:
Cinnamon and white pepper spice, creamy barley, mashed overripe banana and (as the brand's own notes say) "ice-cream cone wafer".
Aftertaste:
Cinnamon spiced toasted barley and bitter green tea with faint candied lemon. Subtle floral notes emerge and linger.
Overall:
Rich creamy cereal, monkey nuts, peanuts and overripe banana is toned by bitter green tea and enlivened with cinnamon spice.
