Comprising rums from Jamaica, Barbados, Trinidad and Guadeloupe, Threeways Rum is the creation of the owner of London's Limin' Beach Club. Given the composition of the blend, it perhaps should have been named Fourways?

Incidentally, Limin' is a Trinidadian term for hanging out with friends while enjoying food and drink.

Review and Tasting

Sampled on 23/11/2020

Appearance:

Crystal clear.

Aroma:

Funky volatile esters jump out the glass with overripe pineapple, toffee, candy floss, and spirituous peppery spice.

Taste:

Gripping spirituous spice with tropical fruit esters, toffee and a hint of candy floss.

Aftertaste:

Spicy finish with fruity esters.

Overall:

The style of rums in this blend coupled with its generous 46% alc./vol,. strength make Threeways heady stuff with pronounced volatile tropical fruit esters and accompanying spirituous spice. A characterful mixing rather than sipping rum.
