Review and Tasting

Sampled on 07/01/2021

Appearance:

Crystal clear.

Aroma:

Herbaceous salty sea air with wisps of smoke and faint pear skin.

Taste:

A sweet entry heads to a herbaceous delicately smoky, slightly salty palate with leathery orchard fruit.

Aftertaste:

Long, dry smoky finish. Smokiness is more amplified than on the palate. Fades to an earthy herbal note.

Overall:

Herbaceous and delicately sweet, this Espadín mezcal is not as smoky as some. Finishes with a surprisingly appealing earthy, almost musty herbal note.
