Review and Tasting
Sampled on 23/02/2021
Appearance:
Clear, pale golden.
Aroma:
Galia melon skin, raw celery, green apple, and wet chalk with faint lemon.
Taste:
Cleansing tart lemony acidity with celery, artichoke, flinty minerality, and light apple fruitiness.
Aftertaste:
Long tart citrusy finish.
Overall:
Cleansing tart and dry. The fact that Aligoté is a relation of Chardonnay tells in the flavour. Perfect for mixing with crème de cassis in a Kir Aperitivo.
