Made from a combination of sugar cane juice and jaggery, this rum is blended of rum aged ex-bourbon barrels and unaged rums.

Portuguese for 'Secret Village', Segredo Aldeia takes its name from a village on the Mandovi river in Goa. The story goes that in April 1721, Olivier Levasseur, a French pirate operating in The Indian Ocean, seized control of The Bishop of Goa's ship off the coast of Réunion and plundered its cargo of treasures from the Sé Cathedral in Goa. This included the solid gold jewel-encrusted Flaming Cross of Goa and barrels of rum, distilled in a village that one a few knew existed.
