Appearance:
Crystal clear.
Aroma:
Punget zesty citrus - led by kumquat - with underlying juniper-forward classic London dry gin.
Taste:
Initial citrus oil notes present as being slightly sweet before piney juniper and accompanying spice dry the palate.
Aftertaste:
Long juniper, orange and kumquat finish.
Overall:
As you'd expect from Hayman's, wonderfully clean and citrusy but still firmly a gin with a juniper-forward backbone.
