A blend of 100% Islay malts, this "Smoky Blended malt whisky" is matured in a combination of Pedro Ximenez sherry-seasoned butts and hogsheads, and ex-bourbon barrels.

Bottled at 46%, unchill filtered and with no added colour.

Appearance:

Clear, golden amber.

Aroma:

Woodsmoke and coal dust, apple and pear fruit, peppery spice.

Taste:

Smoky, honeyed richness, coal dust, smoky bacon, black pepper and clove spice.

Aftertaste:

Smoky coal dust with liquorice, pear fruit and black pepper spice.

Overall:

Assertively smoky with coal dust-like earthiness.
