Review and Tasting

Sampled on 02/03/2022

Appearance:

Clear, golden amber.

Aroma:

Buttery vanilla and brown sugar with passion fruit, pear drops, and pineapple. Nutmeg and black pepper spice.

Taste:

Black tea-like oak tannins dry the lightly black pepper spiced palate with flavours of liquorice, overripe banana, vanilla, passion fruit, cola, and tobacco.

Aftertaste:

Dry toasty oak tannins linger, somewhat mellowed by vanilla and toffee.

Overall:

Bone dry and lightly spicy with black tea-like oak tannins masking topical fruit and vanilla.
