Appearance:
Clear, golden amber.
Aroma:
Slightly floral with toasted oak, caramel and vanilla.
Taste:
Heavily toasted dry oak tannins, with butterscotch and vanilla.
Aftertaste:
Long. Lingering dry oak tannins and black pepper spirituous spice.
Overall:
The floral aromas on the nose of this rum don't prepare you for the dry oak tannins on its palate which mask more subtle notes.
