Cold Brew X coffee liqueur is based on rum from El Salvador and made with speciality graded arabica coffee hand-roasted by Röststätte in Berlinone, one of the leading third-wave coffee roasters.

Röststätte Cold Brew Coffee is freshly roasted and then slowly cold extracted for over 14 hours.

Appearance:

Hazy, deep brown.

Aroma:

Deeply roasted coffee with dark chocolate and liquorice.

Taste:

Mellow, soft and very quaffable while also carrying a good coffee favour.

Aftertaste:

Chocolatey coffee with a faint nuttiness.

Overall:

Cold Brew X lacks the intensity of flavour found in "strong espresso" coffee liqueurs, instead presenting a more approachable liqueur more befitting its "cold brew" branding. The hazy appearance, due to lack of filtration, will put off some while others will respect it as being genuine, raw and artisanal.
