Review and Tasting

Sampled on 28/10/2022

Appearance:

Clear, deep brown (almost opaque).

Aroma:

Pungent deep-roasted coffee with faint dark chocolate and bonfire embers.

Taste:

Dark-roasted, slightly bitter coffee perfectly balanced by just enough sugar. Hints of smoky dark chocolate.

Aftertaste:

Long, roasted coffee finish.

Overall:

Difficult to pronounce perhaps, but this excellent coffee liqueur has an intense deep-roasted coffee flavour and just enough sugar so fairs well when sampled against other leading coffee liqueurs.
