Released in 2020, Chairman's Reserve Legacy commemorates the pioneering work of St. Lucia Distillers' former "Chairman" Laurie Barnard, the man who in the mid-1990s set about changing the rums the distillery made which the introduction of more pot still rums to be blended with column distilled rums.
Chairman's Reserve Legacy is a blend of rums produced by the distillery's Coffey column still, its John Dore and Vendome pot stills. The rums in the blend are matured 5 to 7.5 years in ex-bourbon barrels.
The rum's front label has a painting of Laurie Barnard while the back label recounts that the blend is in his honour.
