Giffard Elderflower Alcohol-Free is made from an infusion of hand-picked elderflowers in white wine vinegar.

One of Giffard's range of non-alcoholic shrubs with rich aromas and flavour while having low levels of sugar for use in cocktails and mixed drinks as an alternative to a liqueur of flavoured syrup.

Ingredients
Water, sugar, elderflower infusion (white wine vinegar, elderflowers), concentrated lemon juice, natural elderflower flavourings with other natural flavourings, preservatives: potassium sorbate, sodium benzoate.

Storage & use
Store in a dry and cool place, ideal away from light.
Beware of use by date and consume within four months of opening.

Appearance:

Clear, pale golden yellow.

Aroma:

Pungent floral elderflower with lychee and saffron.

Taste:

Lychee, elderflower and rose petal with white wine vinegar acidity and notes reminiscent of wormwood.

Aftertaste:

Lingering lychee and delicate white wine vinegar acidity.

Overall:

Elderflower's delicate floral notes don't sit as well with the vinegar notes in this shrub as other flavours in Giffard's Alcohol-Free range but this provides a good way of adding elderflower with low sugar to low and no-alcohol cocktails.
