Uruapan Blanco is blended from 50% fermented sugarcane juice distilled in copper stills, and 50% fermented molasses distilled in French stills.
The sugar cane variety used is "Saccharum Officinarum", cultivated at 4180 feet of altitude in a volcanic soil also called "Charanda" by the inhabitants of Purepechas.
