Brewed using a Californian yeast strain, pale ale malted barley, some Munich malt, Crystal malt, malted wheat and a blend of five American hops (Columbus, Chinook, Cascade, Centenial and Wilamette).

Sampled before 1st May 2011

Appearance:

Clear, copper colour with fluffy white head which quick dissipates to leave thin foam.

Aroma:

Zesty pink grapefruit, orange and lemon nose.

Taste:

Characterful, zesty citrus and bitter pine palate with sweet malt flavours and a slight clove spice.

Aftertaste:

Superbly refreshing, lingering pine resin, grapefruit marmalade.
