Review and Tasting

Sampled on 14/12/2016

Appearance:

(sample bottle BBE Jul/17) Hazy, golden amber with retentive white head and good lacing.

Aroma:

White bread crust, caramel and grassy hops, mango and zesty orange marmalade.

Taste:

Fairly assertive bitter hops over toasty white bread malt with faint mango and orange.

Aftertaste:

Toasted bread crust with lingering green bitter hops.

Overall:

As “session” IPAs go this example is on the more assertive side – both in its alc./vol. and bitter hops.
