Review and Tasting

Sampled on 18/02/2017

Appearance:

(sample bottle 2016 edition bottled 29/Sep/16) Slight hazy, golden amber.

Aroma:

Bready and hoppy with pungent zesty grapefruit and white pepper.

Taste:

Medium-bodied. Sweet tropical fruit, brown bready malt and cut grass, sour grapefruit, orange and lemon. Tart, slightly earthy and also creamy.

Aftertaste:

Creamy citrus finish.

Overall:

This American brewed beer is a great example of a Belgian style farmhouse ale. Bready and citrusy with slight earthiness and a rounding creamy mouthfeel.
