Barbãr Bok, was, prior to 2008, only brewed during winter months and branded ‘Barbãr Winter Bok’. Barbãr Bok is brewed with (to quote the label) “malted barley, wheat, honey, styrian hops, sugar, bitter oranges, coriander, yeast” and undergoes secondary fermentation in the bottle.

The honey used is Mexican Yucatan honey (2.5%), which subtly balances the beer’s high strength with the honey and added sugar. The result is not honey flavoured, nor is it what might be described as being a sweet beer. Since 2009, Barbãr Bok has been available in both swing-top and crown-cap bottles.
