Review and Tasting

Sampled on 28/06/2012

Appearance:

(bbd Sept-12) Clear, bright golden yellow with quickly fading white head and minimal lacing.

Aroma:

White baguette crust, rich tea biscuits and hay with faint Marmite yeast extract-like bitter hops.

Taste:

Generously carbonated. Light bodied, faintly grassy, stale white bread crust and faint green herbal notes

Aftertaste:

More white baguette crust and light hoppy notes. Crusty bready notes and marked carbonation mark this apart from other light, some would say bland, lagers.
