Review and Tasting

Sampled on 08/05/2013

Appearance:

Clear, light rust amber with a coppery tinge.

Aroma:

Aromatic honey scented with floral notes, faint tangerine zest and a malty smell (akin to new hardboard).

Taste:

Syrupy mouthfeel but not cloying or anywhere near as viscous as natural honey. Caramel and lavender with unsalted buttery and butterscotch notes with sweetness balanced by slightly bitter toffee and delicate acidity.

Aftertaste:

Lingering honey and caramel with faint herbal note and light acidic bite.
