Distilled by the only female Swiss distiller, Gaudentia Persoz, Green Velvet VAL. 340 obtains is green colour and flavour from the herbs of Jura, including aniseed, fennel and a dash of lemon balm.

Appearance:

Clear, the palest of straw.

Aroma:

(hydrated) Mellow nose (despite the abv) with old fashioned liquorice sweets, anis and fennel seeds.

Taste:

Refreshing astringent but light with liquorice quickly giving way to anis, fennel and wormwood herbaceousness.

Aftertaste:

Fades with herbaceous complexity and lingering liquorice and menthol emerging.
