Launched in 2000, only 200 individually numbered Lalique Crystal decanters of this rare Cognac were produced. L'Esprit is a blend of Grande Champagne and Borderies with the youngest cognac in the blend over 70 years old with others dating back as far as 1802.

Courvoisier L'Esprit is presented in an individually numbered, hand-cut, Lalique crystal decanter.

Review and Tasting


Sampled before 1st May 2011

Aroma:

Sherried, honeyed, cinnamon nose.

Taste:

Silky, honeyed Christmas cake, dried fruit (particularly apricots) palate.

Aftertaste:

Held in the mouth this grows more spicy and nutty with hints of orange peel, dark chocolate and a few pinches of spice.
