Chilgrove Gin is based on neutral spirit distilled from grape wine. This is redistilled with 11 botanicals by Thames Distillers. The 11 botanicals: juniper, coriander seed, angelica root, sweet orange, bitter orange, orris root, liquorice, grains of paradise, lime peel, savory and wild water mint.

Chilgrove Dry Gin is owned by Christopher Tetley and Dr Celia Beaumont‐Hutchings. They conceived the gin in, and named it after, the English hamlet of Chilgrove in Sussex.

Appearance:

(sample distilled 2014, batch No. 0001) Crystal clear

Aroma:

Spicy with piney juniper, coriander, angelica root, citrus zest and lavender.

Taste:

Big spicy and faintly sweet. Piney juniper, angelica, coriander and black pepper spice with earthy liquorice and floral violet.

Aftertaste:

Eucalyptus, pine, citrus and faint peppery spice.
