El Espolon Reposado is a 100% agave tequila produced in the Highlands region of Los Altos in Jalisco, Mexico and is aged for six months in American oak barrels.

Campari bought the Espolòn brand of tequila when it purchased the San Nicolas Distillery where Espolòn is produced in 2009. Originally introduced in the US in 2000, Campari re-launched Espolòn after purchasing the brand in May 2010.
