The wheat based vodka is distilled at a purpose built micro distillery in two adjoining arches beneath Hackney Downs station in the east of London. This is one of many such “Our Vodka” distilleries operating around the world as part of a collaborative Pernod Ricard project.

Appearance:

Crystal clear.

Aroma:

Superbly clean, fairly neutral minerally. Very faint charcoal, fennel and dairy cream.

Taste:

Very clean with faint natural sweetness. White peppery spirituous spice with faint anise and charcoal.

Aftertaste:

Cracked black pepper with faint star anise and charcoal.

Overall:

Superbly clean and neutral in style. Same about the base level 37.5% alc./vol. for such a premium priced vodka. For that reason, we can’t recommend it, hence the 3.5/5 rating.
