Matured in Spanish oak sherry seasoned casks before undergoing a final maturation period (at least two month) in Solera tuns. The tun is constantly replenished and never let full below half full so ensuring the continuity of the whisky's flavour.

One of three single malts launched 11-September 2013 as the first releases in the Glenfiddich Cask Collection, a series of malts aimed at global travel retail (duty free) created using Glenfiddich’s Solera Vat technique.

Review and Tasting

Appearance:

Clear, bronze amber.

Aroma:

Crispy baguette crust and delicately spiced oak with moist fruitcake and zesty orange marmalade.

Taste:

Sherry-soaked sponge cake, toasted barley, sweet fruitcake and dry lightly salty oak with passion fruit and cinnamon spice.

Aftertaste:

Dry oak, marmalade and sweet cinnamon spice.
